Horse Trips

I have been doing plenty of things lately. First out was a horse trip to Laxnes and Skeggastadur with my best friend Johanna and her brother Julius and their parents Karin and Gudjon. Dad was riding and mom was driving Karin and I. We had cakes and soft drinks at Skeggastadur.

Usually I am at "rolo" every day even if it is raining. I have got new raining clothes and it is fun being out playing even though it's wet outside.

Mom has got a new foal. She named him Jarl from Karastödum. Have a look in pictures.

Yesterday we came home from 4 days of horse riding tour to "Löngufjörerna" in Snaefellsness. We started in Borganes and had first stopped at Grimstadur. Next day we went Grimstadur to Kolvidanes, an eight-hour trip. Saturdays was heading for the beaches to Tradir and the last day it was a small riding trip on the beaches. Lovely nature I can tell you! We children sat in the car while mom or dad was horse back riding. We were lucky with the weather while on the Sunday it was raining cats and dogs. Next weekend we will bring the horses back to Borganes.

This week we will be at home alone with mom as dad is up working in Hvanneyri. I am missing dad already while I am looking forward to Friday when we will go horse riding again.

Soon it is my birthday!!!
